Going Deep on Recommendations
For the first 3 months, we're going deep on Kaggle's recommender competitions.
We'll master transformer-based recommenders—SASRec, Mamba, and the architectures pushing the state of the art. Once we've built real expertise here, we'll expand to other domains.
Why recommenders first? They're a perfect learning ground: sequential modeling, attention mechanisms, real-world evaluation metrics, and active Kaggle competitions to test ourselves against.
